The short version: this site tells you about Barkeaze before it launches. Joining the waitlist is free and doesn't commit you to anything. Details like prices and features may change before launch, and the full terms for using the Barkeaze app will be shown when you sign up.
About these terms
These terms cover your use of barkeaze.co.uk (the "website"), run by Barkeaze Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales. By using the website you agree to them. Questions? Email barkeaze@outlook.com.
The Barkeaze app — where owners book sitters — has its own terms, which you'll be asked to accept when you create an account. These website terms don't cover bookings or sitting arrangements.
The waitlist
- Joining the owner waitlist is free and doesn't create any obligation to use or pay for Barkeaze.
- We can't promise when, or whether, Barkeaze will launch in a particular area.
- You can leave the waitlist at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Please only sign up with your own details and a real email address.
Founder Sitter applications
Applying to be a Founder Sitter is an expression of interest, not a job or contract. Becoming a Founder Sitter depends on passing our checks (including identity, references and insurance) once the platform opens, and any Founder Sitter benefits described on the website — such as a reduced sitter fee — are subject to the sitter terms you'll agree to at that point.
Information on the website
We work hard to keep the website accurate, but it describes a service that hasn't launched yet. Features, fees (including the sitter fee), prices and the areas we cover may change before or after launch. Comparisons with other platforms reflect our understanding at the time of writing and may become out of date. Statistics are included for general information.
The paw diary demo on the home page is an illustration of how the feature works: the sitters, owners, dogs and updates shown are examples, and nothing you enter into it is saved or sent to us.
Photos on the website are stock images used for illustration and don't show actual Barkeaze sitters or customers unless we say so.
Using the website
Please don't misuse the website — for example by trying to break or overload it, gain unauthorised access, submit spam or false information, or copy our content for commercial use.
Our content
The Barkeaze name, logo, text and design of this website belong to Barkeaze Ltd (photos belong to their respective owners and are used under licence). You're welcome to share links to the website.
Liability
The website is provided free of charge "as is". We don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss arising from your use of the website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Your privacy
How we handle the information you give us is explained in our privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows when they last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
